A Monitored Intruder Alarm System may not be required by your insurers, as you may self-insure. However, an Intruder Alarm System can give a much wider sense of security, management and control than you may at first think.
The primary advantage is that it has a secure, independent, data transmission link to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). This data link can carry a variety of signals to our ARC, and the ARC can take controlled, prescribed actions.
For example, it can send Panic Alarms, Lone-man Working Alarms, Power Failure, Air-con Failure, Flood and Fire alarm signals (amongst others). Our Alarm Receiving Centre will call the appropriate agency or agencies to deal with the problem. These calls are recorded and stored. For sensitive areas, we can integrate an Intruder Alarm System into your Security Platform. Any alarm signals will be received by the ARC, who can then call the Police or a third party response organisation.
At the very least, there should be the ability to call the Police from a panic button located on your receptionist’s desk.
Whatever happens, this link is protected 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
